A Great Week for CVS Deals!

I’ve been CVSing for a few months now by checking out their sale ads including Extra Care Bucks offers, current coupons and any other incentive they have for me!  Many people have blogs that list the best deals at this drugstore, my favorites are Andrea’s at MommySnacks and Crystal’s at MoneySavingMom.  This is the first week I’m posting the deals that I’ve gotten and I’m very pleased with my results, thanks to the store that was fairly well stocked, I could get most everything on my list.

Kelloggs’ Cereal:  Reg. Price for 3 = $12.77.  Sale price is 2/$4.  I had 3 – $1 coupons from yesterday’s newspaper (11/9 Redplum insert), making the cereal $1/box!

Listerine Agent Cool Blue Tinting rinse 500mL:  Reg. Price = $5.89.  Sale price is $3.99.  They are offering $3 in Extra Care Bucks (ECBs) this week for each purchase (Limit 5) and I had printed 2 coupons for $1 each.  (Thanks, MommySnacks!)  There are also 50 cent coupons that were in the 10/5 RedPlum insert if you can’t get those printed.  With the combination of ECBs and coupons, both of these bottles were FREE!

Garnier Fructis Shampoo 13 oz.: Reg. Price = $4.29.  Sale price is $2.99.  They are offering $2 in Extra Care Bucks this week (Limit 1) and I got a $1 coupon from the newspaper.  There have been several – did you know you can look up current coupons at Coupon Mom’s coupon database?  Just hang onto the entire inserts from the Sunday papers and you’ll have what you need and can look up to find the coupons for the items you need to buy.  With the ECB and my $1 coupon, this shampoo was FREE!

Palmolive dish soap 11 oz.:  Regular price = $1.59, it was on sale for $1.49 and they gave me ECB of $1 for each one I bought (Limit 5).  I had 2 – 25 cent coupons and ultimately paid 24 cents for each bottle.

Crest Pro-Health Whitening Toothpaste 4.2 oz.:  Regular price = $3.89.  Sale price was $3.49 and they gave me the full amount back in ECBs (Limit 2).  I also had 2 – 75 cent coupons from the 10/12 P&G insert, meaning they paid me $1.50 to take these two tubes of toothpaste out of the store!

I also had $2 Extra Care Bucks from last time I visited CVS.  My total came to $18.12 and with all my new ECBs that printed, I now have $16.98 to use next time I go to CVS!  When it’s all said and done, I spent $3.14 on everything.  About the Reese’s, the cashier handed that to me and asked me to call the toll free number on my receipt to give my opinion on the store.  I’ve never had that happen before, but I was thrilled!  Thank you, CVS!
