I just got an alert from Sonic on the last coupon that I just posted.

Hi -

I work on behalf of Sonic Corp., the corporate headquarters of Sonic Drive-In restaurants. A coupon is posted for a free Sonic Blast treat on your site. Because of unauthorized distribution beyond the original recipient, this coupon is invalid. The coupon was originally e-mailed by Sonic’s corporate headquarters to a Sonic Cruisers member of Sonic’s fan club. However, a generic version of the coupon was made and is being distributed without authorization on the Internet.  Sonic coupons may not be copied, sold, distributed or auctioned on the Internet.

We hope you’ll let your readers know that the coupon is invalid unless they received it directly from Sonic’s corporate headquarters. We apologize for any inconvenience.
